Emese Herczku, our TDK student, successfully presented at the HUPHAR 2025 Conference
Our TDK student, Emese Herczku, partcipated in the 2025 annual conference of the Gungarian Society for Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology (HUPHAR), which took place in Mátraháza between June 4-6, 2025.
Emese presented her research results in the poster section of the event with her work titled " Development of Blood-Brain penetrating Pharmacons to Target P2Y12-Receptors in Parkinsonism", which focuses on the development of novel drug candidates capabla of crossing the blood-brain barrier for the treatment of Parkinson's disease. The research was supervised by Prof. Dr. Beáta Sperlágh and Dr. András Iring.
Participation in this high-quality and scientifically inspiring conference provided an opportunity to explore the latest advances in hungarian pharmacological research, gain valuable professional feedback, and establish new connections. The constructive comments received during the poster presentation were especially beneficial for our group, as they may also help shape new directions in our ongoing projects.
The experiences and insights gained at the event reinforced our reserch efforts and gave new momentum to our work in ivestigating pharmacological targets for neurological diseases.
